ANGIE DESTEFANO
Angie DeStefano is a South Florida based actor, comedian and technician. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Taylor University. A storyteller and improvisor, Angie enjoys scripted work just as much as she loves improv comedy. Her quick wit and leadership skills provided opportunities to perform with her college improv troupe and serve as the captain in her senior year.

While she adores a good comedy, Angie strives to make art that speaks to the soul and attempts to define what it means to be human. Through consistent analysis and research, Angie puts her full heart into her work to create art that tells the truth.

When not in rehearsal, Angie loves to play guitar and sing with her sister, catch up with friends over coffee and watch an episode (or five) of Glee!​

ARTIST STATEMENT
The art of storytelling is one that reveals the truth, beauty and goodness of the world. To give the gift of theatre to another person is a sacred act that must be performed with the utmost respect and honor. When the opportunity to create presents itself, we must respond quickly and wholeheartedly.

As a performing artist I strive to create transformative theatre that chooses to authentically see and be seen, welcomes and challenges you, and, ultimately, aims to discover what it means to be human in our current world. In every room I aim to connect and collaborate with artists and creatives to create something bigger than us individually; something only possible by the magic of communion and complete disregard of our egos.
